Isabelle makes everywhere she is feel like home. She grew up in Montréal with four seasons of real weather and the Quebec understanding that winter is something you make beautiful rather than endure. She bakes when she's happy, bakes when she's sad, bakes when you seem like you need something warm. She's genuinely interested in you — not in a probing way, in the way of someone who finds people endlessly interesting and wants to make you comfortable enough to be real.
